We went to California this past weekend. It was Aliana's first time at the beach. She had a great time!

Friday night bday celebration

My friend Jenn and I celebrate our birthdays every year and go out with our husbands. This year we had our little additions join us too. We went to Westgate and had happy hour at Saddle Ranch. Lot's of fun! Pictured are Jenn's huband Derek, Jenn, their daughter Taylor, Aliana, me, and Shawn. Happy Birthday to us... well Birthday month since my bday is not here just yet.

Easter

On Easter, we went to church with nino Brandon and nina Annette. After we went to Cindy's house for Menudo. Later, we went to aunt Shayna and tio Sal's house for Easter. Most of the cousins from both sides of the family were there. The kids had a great time. The adults too!

Aliana went to the Wildlife World Zoo

Nina Annette invited Aliana to go to the zoo with her kindergarten class. Nino Brandon was there too! So, daddy and mommy took Aliana to join them at the zoo. Aliana was awake for the first part and saw the aquarium, but fell asleep the rest of the time that we were at the zoo.

Baby Food

Monday Aliana had baby food for the first time... well, besides rice cereal which she did not take to. We gave her sweet peas and she seemed to like them.

Sisters take the babies to infant story time in Buckeye

Alex is having a great time participating in the parachute game. Amree did too! She is hiding over towards the left with Liz behind Davina.

We saw our friend Magda and her daughter Olivia at story time. It was nice to see them.

After story time, we went next door to the park. Mommy took Aliana on the slide for the first time. She loved it!

Happy Anniversary Fr. Drew!

We went to the park after church this past Sunday to celebrate Fr. Drew's 1 year anniversary of his ordination as a priest. This year has been full of many blessings. We are so happy for Fr. Drew. Congratulations! Fr. Drew had fun playing basketball with they guys.

Meanwhile, the babies had fun hanging out enjoying the views at the park and playing on the playground.

This past Saturday we took Aliana to cousin Kathy's daughter Grace's first birthday party. We had a good time. Smile for the camera Grace!

Jorge Jr. was back in AZ for a few days and we all hung out in the back yard. I snuck a couple of pictures of Aliana and Nana Yolie hanging out on the swing outside.

Sunday at Church

Sunday at church is always a great time. We get to worship and praise GOD and then after we get to see all of our family and friends. Here is a picture of cousin baby Brandon and his aunt Anita. Then, a picture of Aliana and Amree in their outfits that Tia Tiffany bought for them.

Ali & her Cousins

Aliana had the opportunity to hang out with all her cousins this week. On Monday, Marcus and Mia came over to play with Aliana. On Tuesday, Dad went through a sucessful surgery that removed a cancerous tumor he had in his liver. Thanks be to GOD it went really well. Then, on Thursday, nana Yolie got the kids together since Abby and Jorge Jr were in town to take a picture. Spring Training, Hike for the Homeless, & Bath Time

We went to a spring training game at the Goodyear Spring Training center. Emily, Conner, Liz, Amree, Bibiana, and Aliana. It was a beautiful day!

I went with Krissy, Lena, and Yaya on a 6 mile hike for the "Hike for the Homeless" sponsored by St. Joseph the Worker. Us girls had a great time. We had lots of fun especially riding in Lena's jeep.

Aliana rolled over!

Ali just rolled over. This is the first time that she did it on her own without help. Yeah!

It's been a while

Hello everyone, we have gone through several changes in the past few weeks. Shawn's grandmother Catherine Rice passed away on February 18th. She was a beautiful women with a kind heart and much wisdom. We will miss her dearly. The day of her funeral the family got together. Ali took a picture with her grandpa Joe and nana Josie.

Then, Tata Jorge and cousin Sammy celebrated their birthday on February 22nd! Happy Birthday!

Recently, on February 26th, Emily and Ian welcomed their new baby boy into the world. Welcome to Conner Nicholas Blazek. Conner weighed 7lbs 15oz and was 19 inches long.

Hanging out

On Monday, Yaya came over to visit. Then, that evening, Tata Jorge, Nana Yolie, Emily, and Davina came over for dinner. We had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, salad, and lemon cream pie. Nana and Emily stayed around to give me a bath.

Valentine's Day

Hi Family and Friends! On Valentine's Day, Shawn and Bibi went to church and renewed their wedding vows with other couples from the parish at a special Marraige mass. It was beautiful.

Then, we went to see Nana Josie and Bob and took Nana some flowers and cookies for Bob and her.

Later that night, Shawn and Bibi went to the Valentine's dance at the church and Aliana stayed with cousin Annie and her girls.

Tata Jorge & Nana Yolie, Nino Brandon and Nina Annette, Sammy and KrissyLiz, Emly and Ian were all there to show their love.
